Hey there

Water Creatures! That is the theme for the Global Design Project #GDP407 this week, and my crafty stash is quite limited in terms of water creatures. However, one of my favourite sets from Stampin’ Up! is an old one called Wetlands which has the seabird and I combined him with Oceanfront.

Sending a hello

This week’s challenge at Just Add Ink #666 is an Inspiration challenge, and I was drawn to the soft colours of the blue, pink and white, and decided to keep it a simple design. The message “Sending a card to say hello” spoke to me too, as I have accumulated so many cards and it’s time I started sending some out 🙂

Just add ink challenge 665

This week’s challenge with Just Add Ink is a Clean & Simple card. I usually use a fair few layers on my cards, but am enjoying trying new things and embraced this challenge.

I haven’t used this butterfly die very often and I think it fits perfectly for this challenge.

Challenge with nbus & Park hopping

NBUS stands for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff and I am entering this month’s challenge #53 with a card made using the Stampin’ Up! stamp set Sweet & Precious, which I received recently but have not used until today. The other challenge I am entering with this card is Park Hopping My Happy Place and is dedicated to my friend Gaudi who is from Nairobi in Kenya home of the Nairobi National Park.

This was a stretch for me as it doesn’t have pretty flowers on it! But it was fun to make nevertheless 🙂

A yellow-green sketch

I had fun yesterday creating for some challenges, one of my favourite things to do, and today I am sharing a card I made for two challenges, a sketch challenge with Global Design Project #GDP406, and a colour challenge with Colorful Options #Yellow-Green.

I used the sketch as my starting point, used the Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Twist cardstock which I embossed, and stamped the foliage in Lemon Lime Twist and Lemon Lolly.
