This week at Global Design Project it is a colour challenge #GDP409…
I made my card with all the colours as leaves and layered them under a white embossed banner, and used markers to create a matching background to die cut the word ‘Sending’.

This week’s challenge with Color Throwdown was a challenge as they are not colours I would normally use together, however I do like the card I made for this challenge.
I chose to do a simple layered image card, and used Stampin’ Up!’s Ranunculus Romance set for this challenge #ctd757.

Glitter in my veins, the title of this week’s challenge with TGIF Challenges blog, #tgifc435. I chose to use glitter cardstock for my card, and found some left over pieces of card from a gelli plate session last month which I used as the background for the card.

Just Add Ink’s challenge this week is a sketch challenge, #667.
I created my card entirely using scraps from my scrap drawer, and am really pleased with the result.

I’ve been busy with some challenge cards the last few days. Today I’m posting a card I made for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches FMS600, and it was a fun sketch to use to create my card.
I usually make cards with layers, and sometimes lots of them, and I am discovering (and enjoying) this clean and simple style of cardmaking.

The colour challenge this week with the Facebook group Colour INKspiration #150 was a challenge 😊 because I had completely run out of Calypso Coral cardstock, so I brought that colour in with the sentiment.

The colours for this challenge are…

Colour INKspiration is a Facebook group for Stampin’ Up! enthusiasts, you can also visit them on Pinterest.
Today I am sharing a card I made for this week’s Sketch challenge with Sketch Saturday #733 with the added zing of using bling!
This week at Global Design Project the challenge is CASE the Designer (Copy and Selectively Edit) #GDP408. I was immediately inspired by the layout of the card with the flowers around the sides and the greeting in the middle and chose an old stampset ‘Elegantly Said’ by Stampin’ Up! for my card.

I am on the Design Team at Paper Craft Secrets – Creating With Confidence, a Facebook Group created by Alicia McNamara, and the challenges for August are Die-cuts, and Masculine/Father’s Day. And this month I made too many of both!!
These are the cards I made for the Masculine/Father’s Day challenge…

And this set of 4 Masculine cards…

And these ones are for the Die-cuts Challenge, something I love to do using my Gemini Junior.

This week’s challenge with TGIF Challenges is a Thank You Theme Challenge #tgifc434, the idea is to make someone’s day with a handmade card expressing thanks for something they’ve done or for who they are to you, an unexpected act of kindness.
I picked up on the hexagon shapes and designed my Thank You card from the sketch provided.
