Colour INKspiration #151

This week at the Facebook group Colour INKspiration the colours are Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Petal Pink, and Pecan Pie (Yum!!!).

The card I entered into this challenge is sponged using those four colours and an abstract stencil. I was surprised at how well the colours go together and made several other cards using this colour combination. I muted the colours in this card as I wanted the tree to stand out.

Global design project #412 #GDPwinner!

This week at Global Design Project the challenge is CASE the designer, #GDP412.

My card features a wood grain mat with a second mat of a floral arrangement, a Happy Birthday greeting, and 3 glass-like beads. It is a very simple card to make and has a classic feel I think.

Wildlife & circles

I had a lot of fun with this one, and used a stamp I had not used before. I combined two challenges to create my card, Just Add Ink Challenge 670 Just Add Wildlife, and Freshly Made Sketches #603.

I am not a fan of colouring in, so left the image in black an white, the added vellum also with black printing ties it all together.

A day of challenges

Not literally, cardmaking challenges! This one is for Global Design Project #GDP411 and Sketch Saturday #734. The theme for Global Design Project is ‘Outdoors’, and I have created a peaceful scene at the beach, and I used Sketch Saturday’s sketch to design my card for these two challenges.

This week at Global Design Project it is a sketch challenge #GDP410, and I made three different cards for this challenge, and I had to choose which one to enter into the challenge.

And I’m back with another challenge with Just Add Ink and this time it’s Just Choose Two #668.

I’ve had this green timber look paper for ages and teaming it with its reverse side is quite striking.

CAS colours & sketches #519

I love finding new challenges to join. This is my first time with CAS Colours & Sketches and this one is a Double challenge, colour and sketch, #519.

My card is a compilation of different stamps and the colours for the sketch and includes a die cut posy that I inked with the three colours.

Freshly made sketches #601

This weeks challenge with Freshly Made Sketches #FMS601 inspired me to make my first Christmas card for 2023.

And the fact we just entered September fueled that inspiration. I love working (playing 😁) with patterned papers and I love how this card came together.

Color Throwdown #758

Color Throwdown this week ctd758 is Pink, Green, Magenta, White.

For my card I inked up the inside of the embossing folder with pink and magenta inks before running it through the Big Shot. I inked the flower with pink and magenta inks, and added a strip of lace. For the greeting I inked it with gold ink then black and heat embossed it. I have not done that before but I will do it again!
