Just Add Ink‘s challenge last week was Just Add a Spotlight #675, unfortunately I missed it but this is the card I made for it.

I love making cards from sketches and this one today is from Freshly Made Sketches #FMS609. I combined it with the Colour INKspiration Challenge #154 using the Stamping’ Up! colours, Berry Burst, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Poppy Parade.
My card features the Textured Floral set from Stamping’ Up!

I’m back with a card for the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #rrcb218 which is a colour challenge this time.
The three colours from the challenge I used are green, brown, and blue. The stamp set is one I have had for several years, and use often.

I’ve been away and quite busy since being home, but I found some time today to create again. My card is for this week’s sketch with Freshly Made Sketches #608.
I made my card portrait instead of landscape and kept the banners to the side. And as Christmas is fast approaching went with a Christmas theme.

Colour INKspiration‘s challenge this week is blue and grey, and once again I was out of my comfort zone, which is a good thing. Challenges like this one help me to think outside the square, and to grow in my craft. The theme reminds me of the willow china from ages past.
I used a grey patterned paper for the background, and the navy paper from the Night Divine series by Stampin’ Up! for the panels and layed them on Night of Navy card. I die-cut the poinsettia from Starry Sky.

Colour INKspiration is a Facebook group for Stampin’ Up! enthusiasts, so if that sounds like you come and join in the fun 🙂
Wow! What a week! My cards have won two challenges this week, the Facebook group Colour INKspiration…

And at Freshly Made Sketches…

Janette’s card caught my eyes because of her striking and elegant CAS design. I love the colors and these gorgeous leaves! Congrats Janette you are our Queen of Clean!

This week’s challenge with Global Design Project #GDP413 was a real challenge for me! It was the colours. I rarely use orange or black in my cards, preferring the ends of the rainbow, purples and reds. This is my third attempt (P.S.I nearly gave up).

Not having any Cajun Craze or similar colour ink or card added to the challenge, so I swapped it for Calypso Coral, the flower is stamped first with Calypso Coral and then Pumpkin Pie.
This week’s sketch with Sketch Saturday is #735 and I immediately felt to do a Christmas Card. I had some scraps of patterned paper in my scrap drawer for the 3 strips behind the greeting.
I die-cut the strips and adhered them to an embossed background and kept it simple by just adding some gems near the ‘Merry Christmas’ greeting.

My design for the September challenge at Paper Craft Secrets Creating With Confidence Facebook group is a Mini Album for the Journals & Album Challenge, and it is made using one sheet of 30 x 30cm patterned paper. I have not as yet filled the pages.

This week at Freshly Made Sketches FMS604, the sketch is a clean and simple one.
I chose to layer two leaves and add a die-cut leaf in the centre and three glass-like dew drops.
