Freshly made challenge

I love challenges, and I love sketches, and today I have a card I made for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, #FMS633.

I have had somewhat of a break from making cards for most of this year and am again enjoying some time in my creating space. I made this one in the very early hours this morning.

Challenges galore

There are so many blogs and Facebook groups that offer challenges for card making, and this one I love. It is a Facebook only group and for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. This week’s challenge is to say farewell to some favourite colours of mine, and the challenge was to use at least one of these colours in my card.

I have used all of the colours in my card, and combined it with a sketch from another blog, Freshly Made Sketches. See my next post for another card I made for that challenge today.

Moments #rrcb229

Today I’m posting for another challenge with Retro Rubber Challenge blog #rrcb229, and it’s a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I chose the top row of the challenge: Die cut, Sequins/Gems, and Spring.

I used Poppy Moments Dies and Peaceful Moments stamp set both from Stampin’ Up! and I’ve had them both for more than a couple of years.

Mother’s Day #GDP442

I am back with a new challenge with Global Design Project. This week’s is a sketch challenge, one of my favourite ways to design a card. And with Mother’s Day just around the corner I thought it timely to make a card for my daughter. This is challenge #GDP442.

I used some old much-loved patterned paper as my background, and coloured my floral cluster stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers from Stampin’ Up! which I think gives it a lovely soft watercolour feel to the image.

TGIF Inspiration Challenge #464

Well it’s been a while since I’ve been in my happy place creating a card for a challenge. We’ve been doing renovations at home so it was difficult finding the time, space, motivation and inspiration to do anything other than move furniture and everything we own back and forward. In the process though I re-jigged my creative space and it looks and feels amazing. It was great to get back in there this week.

My card for this inspiration challenge for TGIF #464. I used one of my favourite Stampin’ Up! stamp sets Flowing Flowers.

Sketch saturday #738

Today’s card is inspired by Sketch Saturday #738 and it had an optional “no black or white”. I used up some scraps for this card.

It was a challenge not using black or white, I chose silver for the sentiment on navy card and added silver cord for some contrast.
