Today I am sharing a card I made for this week’s Sketch challenge with Sketch Saturday #733 with the added zing of using bling!
Fun with foil
I have been playing with my Gemini Foilpress machine, I got some new foil dies and got out my inks and blending brushes. I love this card! I foiled the flower then blended three colours over the top and wiped the ink off the gold with a tissue. I can finally say I am feeling more comfortable with foiling 😊

Global design project #gdp408
This week at Global Design Project the challenge is CASE the Designer (Copy and Selectively Edit) #GDP408. I was immediately inspired by the layout of the card with the flowers around the sides and the greeting in the middle and chose an old stampset ‘Elegantly Said’ by Stampin’ Up! for my card.

Paper craft secrets challenges
I am on the Design Team at Paper Craft Secrets – Creating With Confidence, a Facebook Group created by Alicia McNamara, and the challenges for August are Die-cuts, and Masculine/Father’s Day. And this month I made too many of both!!
These are the cards I made for the Masculine/Father’s Day challenge…

And this set of 4 Masculine cards…

And these ones are for the Die-cuts Challenge, something I love to do using my Gemini Junior.

Tgif challenges #434
This week’s challenge with TGIF Challenges is a Thank You Theme Challenge #tgifc434, the idea is to make someone’s day with a handmade card expressing thanks for something they’ve done or for who they are to you, an unexpected act of kindness.
I picked up on the hexagon shapes and designed my Thank You card from the sketch provided.

Retro rubber #213 rainbow
I love rainbows! They are very special to me. This week’s theme for the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #rrcb213 is Rainbow Connection.
My card features a rainbow of colourful flowers using a very old stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Flower Shop and a co-ordinating Pansy Punch, that I’ve had for around 10 years.

Color throwdown #756
Hey there
Water Creatures! That is the theme for the Global Design Project #GDP407 this week, and my crafty stash is quite limited in terms of water creatures. However, one of my favourite sets from Stampin’ Up! is an old one called Wetlands which has the seabird and I combined him with Oceanfront.

Sending a hello
This week’s challenge at Just Add Ink #666 is an Inspiration challenge, and I was drawn to the soft colours of the blue, pink and white, and decided to keep it a simple design. The message “Sending a card to say hello” spoke to me too, as I have accumulated so many cards and it’s time I started sending some out 🙂

Just add ink challenge 665
This week’s challenge with Just Add Ink is a Clean & Simple card. I usually use a fair few layers on my cards, but am enjoying trying new things and embraced this challenge.
I haven’t used this butterfly die very often and I think it fits perfectly for this challenge.
