Tgif challenge #420

Back again today with another challenge entry. This time the challenge is with TGIF Challenges, and it is a sketch challenge

I love using frames in my cards and die cut words, I had fun with this one. This is my entry for tgifc420.

Freshly made sketches #585

Today I’m entering another challenge I think for the first time, Freshly Made Sketches. This week it is Sketch #585.

I planned to combine it with another challenge, a colour challenge at Global Design Project, but I missed the deadline for that one. The colours are Stampin’ Up!’s Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Smoky Slate. I didn’t have any Coastal Cabana card left, so I decided to use ink for my colours. So here is my card for Freshly Made Sketches FMS585.

Retro rubber #rrcb206

Last week I was honoured to be chosen as the winner at Retro Rubber Challenge Blog. Not only that, they have asked me to be a Guest Designer on a future challenge. I have been making cards for nearly 25 years, so this means so much to me.

This week’s challenge is a #RRCB206 Tic Tac Toe challenge, and I have chosen the top line for my project.

The stamp sets I used are Lovely As A Tree and On Your Birthday for the greeting, two of the earliest Stampin’ Up! stamp sets I bought around 12 years ago. I used designer series paper for the background, stamped the trees from the Lovely As a Tree set, and used a brick stencil to give the impression of a building.

Just add ink #651 Moodboard

Today I have a card I made for the Just Add Ink Challenge ‘Moodboard’.

My favourite colour is purple so I just love this moodboard and pulled out all of my purple stamp pads! I had fun making this card, all of my favourite things are in it, purple, flowers, a frame (partially hidden) and lots of layers.

Global design project #gdp392

The challenge this week at Global Design Project is CASE the Designer #GDP392, CASE standing for Copy and Selectively Edit.

I copied the basic design, and used designer series paper instead of the stamped background, and the lovely flower from one of my favourite stamp sets, Art Gallery from Stampin’ Up! I just love this flower!
