Today I am entering two challenges with one card! Color Throwdown CTD#754, Kraft, White & Green, and Freshly Made Sketches #FMS597.

Back with a challenge from Retro Rubber Challenge Blog again #rrcb212, Anything Goes. And I am so excited that I was chosen as their winner again for the last challenge, and won a guest designer spot on their blog again. Thank you Retro Rubber 💜
I remembered doing this reflection technique years ago but had to refresh myself on how to do it, and I love this Lovely As A Tree stamp set by Stampin’ Up! which is more than 10 years old.

I love Retro Rubber Challenges because I love using my older stamps that I’ve kept for years. This one is called Wetlands and the challenge is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge and I chose Beach, Die cut and Embossing.

The sand, sea and sky is made using Gorgeous Grunge, and the birds, grass and greeting from Wetlands, both I’ve had for at least 6 or 7 years.

I’m back for another challenge, this time with Just Add Ink, and it’s a sketch challenge #662.
I had a play with my Gelli plate earlier in the week, and made some lovely colourful backgrounds, the background of this card is one of them. I kept it simple to make sure the lovely colours were the focal point of my card.

I made this card for two challenges, one for Paper Craft Secrets Creating With Confidence Facebook group for their July Project a Day Challenge, Day 8, and for Retro Rubber Challenge Blog which is a sketch challenge this time.

I saw a similar card ages ago on Pinterest and it stayed in my mind, I used watercolour paper and a watercolour technique to create the background for the bird.
This has to be one of my favourite ways to make a card!

I love all the layers, it takes a while but it is such fun for me to do, and I love the beauty in it. I made this for the July Project a Day Challenge for Paper Craft Secrets Creating With Confidence Facebook Group, and it is my Day 4 project.

Hi, it’s that time of year again, when we at Paper Craft Secrets Creating With Confidence are challenged to create something, anything, every day for a month, and this year it is the month of July. I have been quite unwell, and was not sure I’d be able to even start, but was encouraged and inspired by my friend at Paper Craft Secrets, Alicia McNamara, to not give up. I have decided that this month I am going to focus on some new techniques for me, and re-visit some older ones that I haven’t used for quite a while. This one today is a new one, using Gesso to create a stunning background. I’ve used Gesso in the past on art journals, but I don’t remember ever on a card. I struggled getting a good photo of this card, the flower is heat embossed with silver.

This week’s challenge with TGIF Challenges is a sketch challenge, #tgifc424. I love sponging and stencilling and of course butterflies!

This week’s challenge with Just Add Ink is an inspiration challenge, #656. Unfortunately I missed posting in this challenge. I was inspired by the bright colours in the photo.
